Wire-to-board connectors
Description
Self-clamping connectors – 2.54 mm raster. A system of intermediate connectors built from N-1600 series sockets with socket contacts and P series bases, or M-5100 series plugs with plug contacts.Sockets adapted for connection with multicore single or ribbon cables with an outer diameter of the insulation of 1.2÷1.5 mm and a rated conductor cross-section of 0.12÷0.20 mm2. Connection of the socket with the conductor is achieved by direct clamping of the clamp of the knife-type socket,on the conductor as a result of incision and displacement of the insulation.The ends of the conductors to be connected with the socket must remain uninsulated.The ends of the contacts of the sockets and plugs adapted for soldering into the printed circuit board with a thickness of 1.4÷1.8 mm and with the recommended diameter of the holes by 1 mm.
